This is one of Lee's "blended" crosses, where he crushed pollen from 3 different iris , breaking their structure, then blended them together in an effort to break up structure of the TB genes in SDBs, etc. (For more on this process, please contact Lee, for he is much better at explaining it then I!). It is a work in progress but seems to be solidifying the MDB class.
Standards mid red-violet with maroon veining and center line; style arms red center line and tip with gold cream edge; falls maroon red, with red-brown edge and center line; beards orange in throat and middle, yellow with gold tip.
