(Lee Walker 2026) MDB, 6" (15 cm), Midseason to late bloom.
This is one of Lee's "blended" crosses, where he crushed pollen from 3 different iris , breaking their structure, then blended them together in an effort to break up structure of the TB genes in SDBs, etc. (For more on this process, please contact Lee, for he is much better at explaining it then I!). It is a work in progress but seems to be solidifying the MDB class.
Standards gold ground, with violet wash; style arms light violet center, with gold edge and tips; falls butter yellow ground, red-violet edge with dark red-violet in hafts, veining in center; beards cream base, gold tips; absent fragrance.
