(Hugh Stout 2010) Tall bearded iris, ML 38” Named for my dear friend and mentor, this seedling is one that Ron has particularly admired. With cool white ruffled standards and style arms, the falls transform over a three day period from a shiny lavender to near white, without losing their substance. It’s flaring falls and gold radiating beyond the hafts show its ‘Goldkist’ parentage. The bright orange beards complete a very showy picture with tall, graceful stalks. Easily seven to eight buds.
